We had dinner at Salentos and it was amazing! We had guava and passion fruit juices with milk and they were super cold and refreshing! We ordered fried plantains and empanadas for our appetizers and they were delicious... for our main meal we ordered lamb and a bandeja paisa and all the food was hot, fresh and delicious! Our server was amazing super tentative and kept checking in us. The restaurant was super clean and the atmosphere was nice.

This experience at Salento was great. We ordered the meat, more meat and more meat. They bring you a huge tray of meat with a little bit of potatoes mixed in. Everything tasted great and we had more than enough food to bring home. Our server was friendly, funny, the food came out quickly. The restaurant had bbq, steakhouse feel with a Spanish flair.

Finally made it to Salento and let me tell you this trip was 5 years in the making. We came in with friends as a party of 4 on a Saturday night (yes of course we planned ahead and made a reservation) . No issue getting our table and once seated y'all know it's app time. We went with the Columbian Empanadas since I haven't had any in a while and they were great. I also had their Colombian house beer, Bud Light never had a chance. So after looking over the menu with a party of 4 we decided that the Salento House was the best move since it was all our first time. Let me tell you... This is the first timer move. You get a taste of everything, steak, pork ribs, chicken, Colombian Sausage. Salento Sausage, blood sausage, pork rind and grilled pineapple and comes with four (4) sides all for only $96. All the sides and meat were very god and this is prefect for a 4 person party. The only reason I can't do 5 stars is because the Carne Asada which we asked for medium rare was medium well but mostly well done. I know it's a thinner steak but still. I know I will be back because we had a great time and great Colombian beers. Next time I'm getting a Ribeye and I can't wait.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! This venue was worth the trip! The traffic wasn't bad @4:00pm on a Friday. The traffic light was a little bit crazy once we arrived. The venue is a nice sized shopping plaza, so there's a lot of parking available. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The seating is comfortable and the table is a generous size for all the goodies! We ordered the crispy pork rind, smooth guacamole, and toasty green plantains for appetizers. Since it was our first visit, we also ordered the tripe and potatoes. We knew we were going to have some to take home. The meal we ordered was for 2 people, it came with a cowboy steak, a filet mignon, and lamb chops. Everything was tender and flavorful. It had a savory and smoky essence. It came with sweet plantains, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables, and 2 salads. The dips paired well with the meats. We also ordered café con Leche and a papaya drink. You get to choose your juice mixed with water or milk. It was very refreshing. We ate as much savory as we wanted and packed up the rest for home. We chose the desserts to sample: flan and tres Leches cake.... they were so delicious! A perfect treat to end the meal. We had a wonderful dinner. Heidy and staff took great care of us and we would love to bring some friends and family along next time :)

Salento Colombian steakhouse offers an extensive array of meat dishes for ever, food was great ! Had the "bandeja paisa" the pork rind was amazing . Service courteous. Please be advised this is not your regular "steak house" some meat dishes are flavored to take your palate to flavor the uniqueness and grandiose flavors of Columbia . Restaurant's ambience is warm, dimmed lighting that sets the mood , dark wood and leather upholstery , tables and booths for a cozy intimate feel when spending time with friends .

This is my 5th time coming here and they don't disappoint!! The service is excellent and have great attitudes! It's a great experience here! The appetizers we had was the tostones with avocado and Maduro with cheese were very good. I always get the skirt steak it was very good. Their decor gives it a good ambiance. I ordered the rice and beans on the side very good. We couldn't even finish the salads so much food. My wife had the vegetables rice. With the sauces they had I can taste the delicious food still hours after we ate. I will certainly come back.

I did not realize this was a Colombian restaurant until we pulled up into the parking lot (my fault for letting someone else make the choice for dinner! This location is new to the area so we decided to give it a try. The hostess seemed a bit overwhelmed at the time we walked in. She may have just been learning the seating chart/staff assignments. The wait at the front door was a bit long to be seated (and only one couple in front of us) because of that. Once seated, the experience began. The staff was very friendly. Our waitress had a few issues when it came to knowing the menu / answering our questions about the food & ingredients. Once we figured out our choices, we were given bread and 2 dipping sauces.... Neither of which were explained to us (should definitely be done because not everyone knows about the tangy/tart flavoring of Colombian food!) The entrees (both steaks) were phenomenal! The only real issue we had with the restaurant/experience is that our food came out in shifts... the salads (okay-- that's normal), the appetizer (also normal), the sides came separate from the entrees..... basically as soon as it was finished being cooked.... It came to the table instead of plating everything together. I got my appetizer after my entree was finished.... The dining room seemed a bit cramped .... Tables too close to one another and you could clearly hear the next-table's conversations. The decor was current and very eye-appealing. Definitely willing to give it another try....

My dad wanted steak for his birthday and to our surprise there weren't many options. We ended up choosing this place and we were absolutely thrilled. For a Saturday at 5pm it was totally packed. First good sign. The hostess was friendly and showed us to our seats. Our waitress took our drink orders and I absolutely loved that the water came in glass with mint inside. I ordered a guava juice with milk and it was so good my son stole it from me. Lol Our appetizer of green plantains was so good with the guacamole. The food was all cooked to perfection and had a great presentation. There was a lot to eat so we had left overs but it was so good and I loved the authentic Columbian vibe and spice. Our waitress (forgot her name-) was absolutely lovely and did a great job! Overall, we will absolutely be back!
